How Pinterest Marketing Generates Thousands of Monthly Leads For My Online Business

no. 01 : Idea Pins

One of the best ways to boost your leads using interest marketing is with Idea Pins. An Idea Pin is a multimedia-rich, story-style format that allows you to create engaging, scrollable content with images, videos, and text.

It’s designed for sharing creative ideas, DIY projects, tutorials, and more, encouraging interaction and exploration on the platform.

Using Idea Pins is a super easy way to build your brand and authority by linking back to a podcast, youtube channel, or blog post that has a CALL TO ACTION that converts into a low ticket offer.

no. 02 : Posting Pins Daily

Using the power of automation (aka Tailwind!) I am able to leverage pinterest marketing by posting anywhere from 15 – 25x per day on autopilot without ever having to open up the Pinterest app. This allows me to drive traffic back to my website, youtube channel, social media sites, and product pages 24/7.

In case you’re wondering: YES, I also post manually for about 10-15 minutes a day to let Pinterest know I am a human actively engaging on their platform!

no. 03 : Linking to a lead magnet or freebie

Pinterest marketing is great for building a strong email list! You want to make sure that you are intentionally driving traffic back to your lead magnet landing pages and product pages.

For every 10 PINS I post, 50% of them go back to a lead magnet (freebie) or product sales page. You are in the business or making money. Ask for the opt-in and ask for the sale!

no. 04 : Cross Promoting your Pins

Pinterest is likely not the only content platform you are posting content on. If you are building communities on your blog or social media platforms share your Pinterest pins inside a blog post or on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, or LinkedIn. Adapt the caption and format to suit the platform’s requirements.

no. 05 : Repurposing your Pins

Repurposing Pinterest pins is an effective way to get more mileage out of your content and reach a broader audience. Converting your static pins into video pins allows you to grab more attention and engagement.

If a Pinterest pin performed well in the past all I do is refresh it, update it with current information, graphics, or statistics, and then re-pin it to relevant boards.

no. 06 : Linking Pins to your Online Community

Creating a community for your online audience, such as a forum or Facebook group can be a great way to get people more engaged with your content and offers.

Invite your Pinterest followers to join your online community by creating PINS that direct people to your group or online forum.

next steps ::

Pinterest is a powerful and often underutilized platform for growing an online coaching business. Through its visually appealing interface and search functionality, Pinterest offers unique opportunities to reach and engage with a highly targeted audience. Coaches can create and share content that showcases their expertise and value, such as inspirational quotes, infographics, and informative blog posts.

One of the key benefits is Pinterest’s evergreen nature; content can continue to gain traction and drive traffic over time, unlike some other social media platforms. By consistently pinning valuable and relevant content, coaches can establish themselves as thought leaders and build trust with potential clients.

Pinterest also provides valuable insights through its analytics tools, enabling coaches to refine their strategies based on what works best. Additionally, engaging with the Pinterest community by repinning, commenting, and collaborating with other users can increase visibility and connect with like-minded individuals seeking guidance.

By including calls-to-action in pins and linking them to landing pages or opt-in forms, coaches can capture leads and nurture potential clients. Whether it’s life coaching, fitness coaching, or career coaching, Pinterest’s versatility and visual appeal make it an effective platform for coaches to grow their online businesses and inspire positive transformations in the lives of their clients.
